Travel through the nearby villages of Maam and Cornamona and arrive at the gateway to Connemara, with its limestone outcrops, mountains and sea inlets. Marvel at the majestic Maamturk mountains as you head through valleys towards Leenane village. It is here that the mighty Atlantic cuts a deep fjord inland through the mountains and creates Killery Harbour. Visit Connemara National Park and travel onto Clifden.
