Curl up on the plush sofas that sit in front of a warming stove, before stepping into the stylish kitchen, boasting all the necessities for a week long break, including a state-of the-art AGA cooker, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Completing the ground floor is a four-poster bed, offering a tranquil setting for those with limited mobility. Up the stairs is a romantic bolthole, comprising of a king-size double bed, a private balcony area and a quaint bathroom where you can indulge with a relaxing soak within the freestanding bath tub. During the summer evening, enjoy a spot of alfresco dining upon the rear outdoor dining area, before moving to the front veranda area to enjoy the last glimpses of sunshine with a glass of wine. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, head into the centre of Mohill where you will find a good selection of pubs serving food. For days out, visit the wonderful Lough Rynn Castle where you can enjoy a stylish bar and a leisurely stroll within the garden. Situated within the heart of County Leitrim, is this small traditional Irish town, Mohill. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay in Swiss Cottage.

The details on the sites need updating as some of the descriptions on what there was, was not correct. The reason we chose this property was, location and that it had an aga, four poster bed and a comfortable sofa in the lounge. Only the location was correct. On arrival around 3pm after a long drive a pint would have been nice. Instead a washing machine full of wet washing and a tumble dryer full of dry washing which we dealt with. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, great shower downstairs. Wifi would have been handy. Loads of fabulous places to visit. Some amazing restaurants, check out the Purple Onion.

From the moment you enter through the gates it impresses more & more. Wonderful peaceful setting. The cottage is not only beautiful but cozy and comfortable. The kitchen provides everything you could possibly need. The Marshall speaker in the living room was a lovely addition which we used daily. I would highly recommend this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars.
