The villa is situated close to the resorts of Dassia and Gouvia as well as Corfu Town which is just twenty minutes away. In Corfu Town, you can spend a day exploring the cobbled streets soaking up the historical sights or enjoying a spot of boutique shopping and by night there are sensational restaurants for dinner.
Villa Kommeno stands in gorgeous manicured gardens, offering amazing sea views and wonderful alfresco dining and lounge spaces as well as a fabulous swimming pool. It is built in Spanish style over three levels. The villa sits next to the waterfront with just the quiet narrow peninsula road between the villa’s stunning gardens and the crystal clear sea. The villa’s seven bedrooms enjoy classical furnishings and some boast dressing rooms, sitting areas and stylish oversized ensuite bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms could be classed as masters.
The villa’s formal living room is an atmospheric space with French windows that open onto the enormous marble patio with its views through the gardens to the sea and the picturesque Ipapanti Church which dates back to the 18th century. In calm natural colour tones, the living room is very peaceful. It boasts a modern corner sofa, a feature fireplace and a number of accent chairs. You enter via palatial marble pillars. The open plan kitchen diner is on two levels with just a few steps between them. The chef’s dream of a kitchen is huge with walls of dark wood cabinetry and a sociable breakfast bar. Villa Kommeno comes with its very own personal chef who will provide delicious breakfasts and lunch six days a week. It is a brilliant treat not to have to cook every meal! The dining area is very smart with dark wood furniture that matches the kitchen. There is also a very elegant formal dining room with two circular dining tables, a feature fireplace and gorgeous rugs. Villa Kommeno also boasts a second living space, perfect for watching movies or playing family games and a very well equipped gym for those that want to keep up their fitness levels.
The villa’s seven bedrooms are spread throughout the villa. On the ground floor you will find one master bedroom with a super kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom, dressing room and terrace. The first floor is home to another three masters, all with super kingsize beds and ensuite bathrooms. Two of these have access to a terrace and the other enjoys a dressing room. On the garden level you will discover two smart and elegant rooms with super kingsize beds. Two delightful twin bedrooms complete the bedroom set up on the second floor. All of the bedrooms are super stylish while being minimalist in decor. They boast rich dark wood furnishings, brilliant white walls and luxurious linens.
The entertainment spaces outside are just as palatial as the interiors. The large swimming pool, complete with jacuzzi, is surrounded with loungers, parasols, hammocks and lush lawns sprinkled with olive trees. It is such a peaceful, vibrant green spot with fantastic sea views. Just above is a sensational alfresco dining area with a hexagonal shaped shaded pergola and a bar. There is a stone barbecue and outside kitchen area which is perfect for delicious outdoor feasts. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed in an elevated alfresco lounge area while mesmerised by the spectacular vistas. Youngsters enjoy a special playground area. The secluded Kommeno Bay is halfway up of Corfu’s eastern Ionian coast, just twenty minutes from the vibrant capital Corfu Town. The quiet private roads on the peninsula give you a feeling of remoteness though the bustling, vibrant beach bars of Dassia and Gouvia’s 18th century Venetian architecture are only ten minutes away. Kommeno boasts some of the most coveted shoreline in Corfu.

Corfu Town is brimming with elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares, no fewer than thirty nine churches and majestic fortresses. Spianada Square is the largest, greenest and most majestic square in Greece. You should not miss The Liston, constructed in 1807 during the period of French rule and the Church of Saint Spiridon. The entire Old Town is declared a unesco World Heritage site, a tightly-packed warren of winding lanes bursting with lively bars, unique shops and fine restaurants. You will also see timeless alleys with the day’s washing stretching from balcony to balcony. The architecture is painted in sunny ochre and sienna shades. Just off Spianada Square is the Old Fortress on the site of an acropolis. Inside the fortress you will discover the Doric temle of Saint George. The fortress offers breathtaking views. Corfu Town is the birthplace of the late Duke of Edinburgh. He was born at the fabulous Mon Repos Palace in Kanoni. Next to the palace gardens you will find the calm waters of the Mon Repos Beach and to the north, you will find Faliraki Beach. There are also some interesting museums including the Byzantine Museum of Corfu which is housed in a 15th century church. Others are the Museum of Ceramic Art, the D Solomos Museum and the Asian Art Museum.
The beautiful picturesque resort of Kassiopi is located in the lively north eastern corner of Corfu. With the dramatic Mount Pantokrator overlooking the resort and with a stunning harbour, this once quiet fishing village is very popular and very attractive. It boasts charming narrow streets overlooked by the ruins of an ancient Byzantine castle and breathtaking views out to sea towards the Albanian coast. There is a gorgeous walk you can take around the headland.
Close by, you can also enjoy a family fun day out at Aqualand, the massive water park in the middle of Corfu or the famous Durrell White House in Kalami.
