Unassuming and understated from the street, this delightful 18th-century house has been beautifully restored and furnished in order to maintain its original character, whilst bringing it up-to-date in a most elegant fashion. This whole area offers many sightseeing opportunities: the lovely little town of Vaison la Romaine is a short drive away, and the city of Avignon is one of the most attractive cities in Southern France and well worth a visit. Wine-tasting may also be of interest to you and, as one of the world's premier wine-producing regions, your only difficulty might be in selecting which estates to visit and which to save for another day!

The peaceful countryside surrounding Caromb may inspire you to hike along some of the local nature trails and, if you make it to the top of Mont Ventoux, the highest peak in the region, you will enjoy spectacular views which are certainly worth the climb. And cycling enthusiasts will know that the Tour de France passes through this region in mid July.
