All is simplicity and sophistication at this casual, walkable villa in the French Riviera. A linden tree shades the terraces outside, where you can take your tea beneath the buttery yellow autumn leaves. Tables and loungers at every turn invite you to relax outside - dine al fresco all together on the terrace, or split into smaller groups, chatting by the private pool. All that’s needed? The polished, minimalist interior was designed by Philippe Stark, and was featured in Maisons et Décors Méditerranée (the French Homes & Gardens equivalent). Your guests will love the handy shower room just off the pool, and the modern gourmet kitchen. The bedrooms include three kingly suites, as well as a twin room beneath the eaves for the kids.
Tiles and ceramics are the main export of Salernes, the town that sits just 800m from your holiday villa. You’ll find picture-perfect fountains and a river cutting through this substantial town, with no need to go anywhere else for groceries or restaurants. If your eye is on the coast, head for Saint-Tropez, an hour away. Wineries dot the landscape between the villa and the sea - go taste!
Salernes (800m from the villa) is famous for its handmade tiles & ceramics and dominated by the remains of a 13th century castle. Strolling through the narrow streets you will pass rows of charming houses and bubbling fountains. A beautiful clean river flows through the village which is safe for children to swim in and there is a tennis club and cinema for family days out.
St Tropez is just an hour’s drive from the villa and perfect for shopping, dining out and taking a dip in the brilliant blue Mediterranean!
Join the locals in a game of boules and wind your way down the cobblestone streets taking in the romance of the French Riviera. Must-sees Nice and Aix-en-Provence are just another 15 mins down the road.
Saint Croix & the Gorges du Verdon are 25 mins away and a great day out with plenty of water sports to be enjoyed on the lake and Gorges du Verdon widely considered the most beautiful canyon in Europe. Grab your hiking boots and explore the gorgeous natural landscapes surrounding the villa.

Ivoire is a beautifully designed and decorated villa with space for a large family to relax inside or outside by the swimming pool. There are several supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance. It is worth noting that the villa has no wifi and the usb device has a data limit, which may be tricky for families with teenagers. Although we thought the villa had a well equiped kitchen and high end design, the upstairs bedrooms were rather hot during August, which made sleeping difficult, even when we used the old style shutters to keep out the sun

Fabulous property and very well equipped! Responsive and helpful landlord. Wine tasting and cellar visit at Chateau Thuerry is a must!
