A fantastic beachfront luxury villa in Languedoc, southern France, Villa Faustine sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms. There is a fifth en-suite bedroom in the basement, perfect for the nanny or a hideaway for the kids, taking the occupancy to 10.

The villa highlights include a spectacular glass walled swimming pool, manicured gardens, children’s, games room, cinema room and sauna. Use of the villa’s speedboat, kayaks, stand-up paddles and mountain bikes for all ages ensure there’s plenty to do for those looking for a more “active” break. The combination of traditional local stone, wood and glass provide for a spectacular entrance.

The light and airy open plan living area provides a fabulous space for dining, entertaining or just taking it easy with family or friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and there is a plasma television, DVD library and sound system in the lounge and dining room. The villla is ideal for enjoying alfresco dining and evening BBQ’s on the terrace as the sun sets over the sea!

There are stunning sea views from the the master bedrooms and balcony. All bedrooms are suitable for double or twin occupancy and are equipped with plasma televisions, DVD players and iPod docking stations. The luxurious en-suite bathrooms are brimming with L’Occitane products and fluffy bathrobes and towels for your comfort.

Children and big kids can enjoy table tennis and table football and other activities in the basement games room. Relax in the sauna or watch your favourite movie in the cinema room, both situated in the basement. Wi-Fi throughout enables you to keep in touch with the wider world should the need arise!

There are numerous places to visit and activities to enjoy close to the villa for a day out. Wellness centres, tennis, golf, go-karting, water parks, activity parks and chateau wine tours, to name only a few! The fishing town of Sète, recently acclaimed by the Telegraph as "The Perfect Break", is just on the doorstep with its numerous fish restaurants and canals. Montpellier, with its historic old town, trendy boutiques and restaurants, is just half an hour away by car, and the historic towns of Béziers and Pézenas are within easy reach.

Le Cap d’Agde Golf International Centre includes both 18-hole and 9-hole courses, a driving range, putting green, chipping green and a practice bunker. The golf courses offer undulating greens and well-located water hazards and bunkers. There is an on-site restaurant and pro-shop and you can also hire golf clubs and buggies.

La Forêt d’Acrobates high-ropes facility is only 20 minutes away consists of five courses set in a beautiful forest, providing 2-3 hours of fun for the whole family. Courses include: ‘Panoramique’ for great views of the region and the longest zip-wire in the Languedoc – 150m long, 20m above the forest floor, The site also offers other activities such as archery, canyoning, canoeing and kayaking, Via Ferrata, climbing and caving.

There is an international tennis centre in Cap d’Agde, which has 32 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, and 2 badminton courts – as well as a gym and a swimming pool. It is open every day from 8.30am – 8pm and you can simply hire a court or take part in courses or private lessons. Courts must be hired 24 hours in advance. Racquet hire is available.

Sète Equitation Passion riding centre offers riding lessons all year round. Réserve Africaine de Sigean, located between Narbonne and Perpignan (direction Barcelona on the A9), this extremely popular reserve is open every day of the year between 9am and 6.30pm. Animals to watch out for in the drive through area include elephants, giraffe, gibbons, lions, black bears, rhino and many more. While the on-foot section hosts African antelopes, chimpanzees, elephants, reptiles, turtles, tortoises, alligators, snakes, and other creepy crawlies. The reserve is located just south of Narbonne, approximately an hour’s drive from the villa.
