Chalet Poudreuse is a lovingly restored and upgraded farmhouse which successfuly blends traditional Savoyarde architecture, with plush, modern interiors and seven bedroom, which sleeps groups of up to fifteen guests.

The epicentre of the property is a large, spacious living and dining area equipped with a multitude of Alpine necessities. The dining table seats groups of up to seventeen. There is lovely open log fireplace and a flat screen LCD television that comes complete with a massive collection of films and music. There is also a fully equipped bar and free WiFi throughout the chalet. Plenty of balcony space awaits with a beautiful view out over to Mont Blanc to the south and Le Brevent to the north. Add to this an eight seater jacuzzi, a heated room in the basement for your snow covered boots and skis to dry off - all topped off with a fabulous team of hosts and amazing cuisine!

There are seven bedrooms in Chateau Poudreuse, including three doubles, two bedrooms in the attic (that can be either double or twin) one twin and one triple. One of the doubles is an ensuite, while the other two have basins. There are two further bathrooms in the chalet. The triple room has a beautiful hand carved oak bunk bed with queen sized mattresses making the room suitable for adults and children alike. Just try to make sure there's not that much arguing over it...

If you weren't already aware, Chamonix is the ultimate destination for those with a penchant for winter sports! It's a breathtaking backdrop to your ski or snowboarding holiday and the possibilities for all levels and abilities of skiers is endless.

There are no less than five different skiing locations across the Chamonix valley. Each are different, and so all ski and snowboard enthusiasts are more than catered for. If skiing is not for you and you'd rather sip delicious 'chocolat chaud' in an authentic café then fear not, Chamonix offers a wonderful holiday opportunity for skiers and non skiers alike!

The history of the resort is rich and there is much to be explored, not least of which is the extensive choice of restaurants, markets, bars, shops, exhibitions and festivals that are on offer throughout the year. For the daredevil in you, there are heaps of different activities to try including husky sledding, rock and ice climbing and snow shoe walking to mention just a couple. Whatever sort of holiday you desire, Chamonix can cater for it!
