Limni Beach Villa sits within a gorgeous landscaped garden in the friendly village of Polis. Polis and its neighbouring harbour village Latchi enjoy a lovely position on Chrysohous Bay. Latchi boasts a string of fine fish restaurants where you will dine in style with panoramic sea views. The Baths of Aphrodite can be found near Latchi, roughly 18 miles from Paphos. It boasts a natural cavern that features a caved shallow pool surrounded by ferns and a large fig tree. A natural spring supplies the pool water and according to myth, Aphrodite would bathe in the pool and it is where she met her great love, Adonis. The waters are rumoured to hold special rejuvenating powers.

In the northwest corner of the island, the Akamas National Park covers an area of 239 km sprinkled with valleys, gorges and wide sandy bays. There are 168 varieties of birds, 20 different reptiles, 16 species of butterfly and a very rich variety of fauna. It is a wonderful area for wildlife, fauna and keen walkers and mountain bikers. The Blue Lagoon is very popular which many guests visit by boat. The crystal clear blue water is amazing and it is excellent for snorkeling.

Lara Beach is within easy reach of Limni Beach Villa. You will discover soft, golden sand and crystal clear waters though you may need to rent a 4 by 4 car to reach the beach. It is the breeding ground of the endangered Green turtle and Hawk’s Bill turtle. There are three official nature trails through the Akamas peninsula, the Adonis, Aphrodite and Smigies trails. They are interwoven with rocks, gorges and valleys and offer stunning views of the curved coastline, cliffs and boulders.

The vibrant tourist town of Paphos enjoys a diverse range of entertainment. It takes you back to ancient Greece with its temples and colourful mosaics, it treats you to delicious local cuisine, it offers excellent shopping opportunites and rewards you with wonderful cultural attractions. Paphos Old Town is a recognised site of historic and archaeological importance. The Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos. The entire town is on the unesco World Cultural Heritage List. For some culture, you can visit the Tomb of the Kings outside the northern walls of Paphos Town where the Egyptian catacombs are carved out of solid rock. You can also visit the wonderful Kato Paphos Archaeological Park which houses impressive Roman mosaics or the famous House of Dionysos. Up on the hill, the majestic columns of the Temple of Aphrodite frame the panoramic, sweeping sea views. The Old Town enjoys narrow cobbled streets lined with charming pavement cafes and bars and the modern harbour is packed with vibrant, buzzy bars and restaurants. Paphos’ Blue Flag beach is small but fabulous, right in the town centre. It is split into two parts with plenty of sunloungers and a wooden deck to enjoy the guaranteed sunshine.

Pissouri Beach and village enjoys delightful Cypriot character and spectacular views. During the summer it hosts a ‘Cyprus night’ in the lovely traffic free village square with dancing and music. It is possible to see the shore line all the way to Limassol and to the north you can see the Troodos range, including Mount Olympus, the highest mountain on the island. Amid the cool, fragrant pine and cedar forests of the Troodos mountains are some spectacular churches.
