About this property

A beautiful 4-bedroom holiday home, Villa Odin is located just 7km from Omiš in the quiet village of Naklice. Featuring a secluded terrace and garden with an impressive 8m x 4m pool, it’s the ideal villa for up to eight guests seeking peace and tranquility close to the Dalmatian Coast.

With a terrace surrounded by trees and enjoying idyllic views of the countryside, Villa Odin offers a variety of outdoor areas. As well as the pool, lined with sun loungers and with a useful outdoor shower, you have a summerhouse with covered dining area and summer kitchen, and a lawn area which is ideal for children to play on.

The summerhouse is equipped with a TV, bathroom and an impressive kitchen and dining area with a barbecue and large fridge freezer, so you’ll have everything you need for a day chilling by the pool.

Your accommodation is located on the first floor of the house, giving you the very best views. It includes a living room with access to the terrace, with seating area, satellite TV and Wi-Fi, plus a well-equipped kitchen with all the appliances you could need, from dishwasher to coffee maker.

The four bedrooms include two doubles and two twin rooms, one of which has an additional sofa-bed which can accommodate an extra two guests if required. The two double bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom with shower, and there’s a family bathroom for everyone else too.

It’s just a short drive from the village to Omiš, a magnificent town sitting on the River Cetina, which is the hub for a host of sporting activities. Try rafting, zip-lining or just use it as a starting point for a walking or cycling tour of the town. Children will love the pirate adventures which Omiš is famed for, and there are great bars and restaurants for the adults to explore, plus numerous fine beaches.A small harbour town on the Dalmatian Coast, Omiš sits at the mouth of the Cetina River. It has a long and rich history, with stories of the town’s notorious pirates running amok in the Middle Ages among those you are bound to discover. In the 13th and 14th century, they were the most-feared in the Adriatic, and used the river to make a quick getaway after attacking passing trade ships. In summer, Pirate Night tours are a popular attraction, telling tales of the pirates in a more family-friendly way.

Omiš is a pleasant place to spend your time with lovely beaches and a wealth of great restaurants and cafés. It’s visually impressive, with steep cliffs providing a backdrop to the Old Town, where you can find a Franciscan monastery and several old churches, in addition to the Mirabella fortress, dating from the 13th century. At the top of the mountain, there is also the Starigrad fortress – it’s quite a climb, but a rewarding one.

Olive groves and vineyards lend their magic to the beautiful areas which surround the town, and the Cetina gives you the opportunity to try out water-sports like rafting, canyoning and canoeing.

Omiš is something of a cultural hub too. The town hosts festivals celebrating music and theatre on a regular basis, with an annual highlight being the Festival of Dalmatian Klapas each summer. Split is also easily accessible from Omiš, around 25km away, so it’s easy to take a bus or mini-van to see the Diocletian Palace, the Cathedral of St Domnius or the town’s strangely unmissable frog museum. The Villa

We have just returned from a most fantastic stay at villa Odin. Anita and her family were amazing hosts, they kindly shared with us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden as well as cooking a most delicious meal for our family of 8. They were there if we needed anything at all but always respected our privacy. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in clean surroundings with the most excellent hosts.

We have had a wonderful week at Villa Skura! Our host, Anita, welcomed us with platters of food, wine, beer and produce from her garden. She could not have been more helpful suggesting places for us to go, she helped us hire bikes and she cooked us the most delicious meal on our last night. The villa is fantastic and is well situated in the countryside and near Omis and Split. We only wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to return!
