About this property

Situated in the village of Naklice, just 7km from Omiš, Villa Grise offers luxurious accommodation for up to eight guests in a peaceful location. With a backdrop of green hills and a gorgeous pool and terrace, this well-equipped holiday home is the perfect refuge from busy, modern-day life.

The villa’s outdoor areas let you enjoy all kinds of activities in a tranquil atmosphere. The L-shaped heated pool offers a massage function and is perfect for relaxing as the sun goes down. There is a large terrace space with sun loungers around the pool, and a covered area with dining table and bench seating. You also have a summer kitchen and barbecue, and a summerhouse with a football table and more seating.

The terrace area is directly accessible from the indoor lounge, where you have satellite TV, a PlayStation 4 and Wi-Fi to keep you both connected and entertained. This open-plan space also contains a dining area and a kitchen, with sleek appliances including a large fridge freezer, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.

All three of the bedrooms have access to the terrace, and include two with a double bed and one twin room with an additional sofa-bed. One of the doubles has its own en suite bathroom, while a family bathroom serves the other two. All of the accommodation is located on the lower floor of the building and is air-conditioned.

You are just a short walk from the nearest restaurant, with Konoba Palacio in the village around 200m away. It’s an easy drive into Omiš, where you can enjoy days by the riverside, watersports like canyoning and rafting, or visit historic sights, shops and restaurants. The Old Town is a real treat, and you can admire spectacular views either from the Fortica or Mirabella Fortresses, or from a zip-wire which stretches for 2km across the Cetina Canyon.A small harbour town on the Dalmatian Coast, Omiš sits at the mouth of the Cetina River. It has a long and rich history, with stories of the town’s notorious pirates running amok in the Middle Ages among those you are bound to discover. In the 13th and 14th century, they were the most-feared in the Adriatic, and used the river to make a quick getaway after attacking passing trade ships. In summer, Pirate Night tours are a popular attraction, telling tales of the pirates in a more family-friendly way.

Omiš is a pleasant place to spend your time with lovely beaches and a wealth of great restaurants and cafés. It’s visually impressive, with steep cliffs providing a backdrop to the Old Town, where you can find a Franciscan monastery and several old churches, in addition to the Mirabella fortress, dating from the 13th century. At the top of the mountain, there is also the Starigrad fortress – it’s quite a climb, but a rewarding one.

Olive groves and vineyards lend their magic to the beautiful areas which surround the town, and the Cetina gives you the opportunity to try out water-sports like rafting, canyoning and canoeing.

Omiš is something of a cultural hub too. The town hosts festivals celebrating music and theatre on a regular basis, with an annual highlight being the Festival of Dalmatian Klapas each summer. Split is also easily accessible from Omiš, around 25km away, so it’s easy to take a bus or mini-van to see the Diocletian Palace, the Cathedral of St Domnius or the town’s strangely unmissable frog museum. The Villa
