Dvori Makarska II is a luxurious property located a short distance from the old town of Makarska. Built in a Dalmatian style with a stone façade, the building offers a romantic, charming ambience as you approach.

As you step inside the villa, the furnishings are fresh and comfortable, with character features boasted throughout the property, there is a homely, relaxed atmosphere. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a fireplace, ideal for all times of the year. A fully-equipped kitchen is ready for your use as well as a dining area for eight people. With windows and doors opening out onto the terrace, the sunlight shines in, enlivening this living area. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom and the terrace with a fantastic sea view. On the gallery you will find another bedroom with a double bed.

In the basement, the wine cellar offers a large assortment of top Croatian wines at no extra charge! The Konobo, includes a fully equipped kitchen, as well as seating for thirty people and a fireplace which can also be used as a grill. This fantastic, Croatian entertaining space is unique to this villa, a real luxury and a can’t miss opportunity!

A detached house, located a short 3m behind the main house, has facilities for two more guests. Boasting a living room with a comfy sofa bed, a kitchen and a separate bathroom.

The garden outside is beautifully landscaped, with Mediterranean plants, olive trees and palm trees, the property is surrounded by cascading walls and offers complete privacy and security to you and your family. A heated private pool awaits you on the terrace. There is also a covered seating and barbecue area for you to relax in, sunbeds where you can finish the final pages of your favourite book and the star of the show; unbeatable and breath-taking views to the open-sea and the islands of Brac and Hvar.

Although a lot of people jump straight on a ferry to stay on the Croatian islands in this area, the mainland coast also offers some of the most beautiful areas, such as the lovely town of Makarska.

Through summer Makarska’s main square is filled with open-air restaurants and cafés, while behind the church, in the shade, the daily open-air market sells fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. Along the harbour, overlooked by a string of cafés and pizzeria, wooden excursion boats offer one-day trips to Jelsa on Hvar and Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on Brac.

But the main draw here is the beaches, backed by fragrant pinewoods overlooking the glistening turquoise sea. Makarska’s town beach is a long curving stretch of pebble, behind which runs a shady palm-lined promenade with several big hotels interspersed by cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours. There are peddle-boats, banana rides and jet skis for hire, so it’s great for families but not particularly restful.
