About this property

Villa Plava is a beautiful, three-bedroom villa, perfect for families or groups of friends that want to soak in some of Mediterranean sunshine!

Combining character with modern styles, Villa Plava offers a delightful family holiday home in the heart of the historical city of Šibenik, only 200 meters away from the cathedral of St. James, a famous monument protected by UNESCO.

Carefully renovated, this charming property has all the modern facilities you may need for a comfortable and luxurious stay!

From the moment you arrive, you will feel at home, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere spreading throughout both the interior and exterior spaces. Inside, each room offers stylish furnishings, with several exposed stone walls offering a glance back to the tradition of the property.

On the ground floor, there is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a separate toilet. Climbing up the wooden stairs, the first floor offers a beautiful balcony, boasting views over the surrounding area, the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the old part of the city.

There are two modern bedrooms on this floor, both with private bathrooms. The final double bedroom can be found on the second floor, boasting beautiful views over Šibenik and the fantastic St. Anthony’s Channel.

Outside, the charm of the area and the villa itself is evident, creating a private sanctuary, where you can rest and restore, away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. The private courtyard offers the perfect, romantic spot for evening meals, with an unforgettable atmosphere.

A few steps from the villa, you can enjoy your morning coffee in The Medieval Monastery Mediterranean Garden of St.Lawrence, before meandering through the botanical garden itself. Šibenik offers shops, restaurants and bars for you to explore, with everything you need nearby!

Based in central Dalmatia lies Sibenik, Croatia’s third largest city and also known as a “gateway to the Kornati islands” which lie nearby. Sibenik has an exciting history paved with piracy and religion which has left a path of fascinating ruins and churches in its wake.

The most notable of these would have to be the Cathedral of St James which has been decorated with 71 sculpted faces. These historical sites can be found across medieval Sibenik and most of Croatia which makes for a very in-depth historical tour.

Away from the history of the city, there is a wealth of activities nearby with something here for everyone. Of course, there are the beaches which offer sunbathing, splashing, volleyball and water sports as well as bars and restaurants. There are day trips to the nearby islands and connections to other areas of Croatia.

For a truly inspiring experience, a visit to the Krka national park is a must, bathing under the waterfall there is a favourite past time of many locals and visitors.

After a day of exploring, there are backstreets and alleys in the Old Town to discover, with restaurants and taverns offering traditional Dalmatian fare and a fantastic selection of local wines. Days here are happily ended with a glass of wine by the Klapa or with a romantic stroll down the beach with much to look forward to the next day.

In the heart of the old town, charming courtyard.

We were very excited! We were the first guests ever in this house and you can say that the house has everything you need. There were even utensils available which we have not found in an apartment until now. Dish soap, enough toilet paper, shower gel, towels and much more, everything was there! Very nice atmosphere. For 6 people optimal but also for 8 no problem! Very centrally located, it is all within a few minutes, restaurant, cafes the cathedral and yet you get from the hustle and bustle with nothing. However, you have to be aware that the house is located in the middle of the old town and therefore there is no direct parking.
