With views extending across the Kvarner Bay and all the way to the islands of Cres and Krk, Villa Botova is a unique, majestic and supremely modern home-from-home offering a little piece of luxury on the dazzling Adriatic coast of Croatia.

Built in just 2017, the design of the villa is contemporary, crafted with the demands of the modern traveller in mind. The kitchen is a delightfully bright, warmly lit room with a wall of French doors leading out to the beautiful garden.

A dining area divides the kitchen from the living room, all styled in beautiful open plan design, allowing a conversation to flow freely between the spaces. The living room is as modern and spacious as the rest of this floor, with a large L-shaped sofa in front of the Satellite TV and a second wall of glass doors.

There is also a games room complete with table football and a pool table, so groups of all ages can enjoy a little fun and games and healthy competition! And finally, there is a tavern in the basement for late-night entertainment.

There are six fantastic bedrooms, two twins and four doubles. All six are on the first floor and are equipped with both air-conditioning and a Satellite TV. They are designed to echo the warm, natural colours of the surrounding landscapes, with pastel pinks and blues and soft whites.

Each is accompanied by a large ensuite bathroom so that you can enjoy your own space and privacy! Two of the double rooms enjoy a beautiful balcony overlooking the bay, where you can soak up the rural ambience and listen to the calming sounds of nature all around you.

In the garden you will find two swimming pools, one for the adults and a second for the kids – so you can all play in harmony, knowing the kids are happy and safe! The pool is surrounded by luxury loungers where you can soak up the sunshine all day long, without missing out on the action!

There is an outdoor dining area, complete with a barbeque, for sumptuous alfresco meals, while on the veranda you will find casual seating areas for more relaxed socialising. There’s table tennis set too, for more fun in the sun!  

You’re just 900m from the nearest beach, in Lovran, and only around 10 minutes away from Učka Nature Park, a sprawling protected area with hiking routes leading to canyons, waterfalls and historic sites – so you’ll find unspoilt nature a stone’s throw away!

In fact, one-third of the Istrian territory is forested, and the rest is carpeted with vineyards, olive trees, pastures and orchards, with ancient walled cities perched atop hills in the mountainous landscape, so you can find the richness of Istria wherever you venture to!

A charming heart-shaped peninsula in the north-west of Croatia, Istria is warm, welcoming and perfectly-sized – you can drive the length in around an hour, putting everything within easy reach!

From breath-taking scenery, rich history and a world-famous culinary scene – you will find it all in Istria! As a former part of the Venetian Republic, this region has seen many rulers from the Romans, Byzantines and Austro-Hungarians to the Italians and Yugoslavians. Now, a myriad of enchanting towns and villages, rich in history and culture, are nestled among the undulating countryside.

Much like its neighbouring Italy, Istria is a gastronome’s paradise, home to world-class cuisine and endless rows of vineyards. Be sure to try the local wines, which are often sweet and fruity, using a wide variety of grapes including white Malvasia, red Terrano and Moscato.

Istria is especially famous for its truffles, which you will find served with any dish and sauce! Truffle flavoured olive oil is a typical product of the region, and indeed, you will hardly find a village which does not have its own Olive oil ‘supermarket’!

Both Rijeka and Pula have international airports within a short drive of the villa, while Pula is the central hub for those getting ferries, although there is a daily ferry between Poreč and Venice.
