About this property

If you've ever dreamt of having your own private country estate, a stay in this beautiful coastal hideaway will help to bring your dream alive.

Set in a lovely valley, with the Stiffkey chalk stream running through the grounds, and overlooking a large lake (home to a family of swans and visited by a variety of wildfowl around the year), Old Hall Farm offers you peace, privacy and space in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. This unique holiday retreat is simply paradise for birders, nature lovers, artists, photographers, walkers or anyone wanting to escape their stressful daily lives - soak up the calm, drink in the view and feel yourself begin to relax and unwind.

The spacious and comfortable accommodation is on one level, very well-equipped, light and airy throughout and enjoys stunning views from every window. The superb double aspect large open plan living space is the most perfect spot for enjoying long, lazy lunches and congregating around the fire at the end of the day, with a glass of wine, to chat the night away comparing notes and sharing stories about the day's activities.

Once you arrive at Old Hall Farm, you might not feel like venturing too far but the beautiful garden will invite you to wander and take a stroll alongside the lake - take a pair of binoculars, you are sure to spy something interesting to observe - and the magnificent Stiffkey church high up on the skyline is quite something to behold. Stiffkey is a very pretty village with flint houses bordering the narrow streets. At the edge of the village, the North Norfolk Coastal Path runs alongside marshland and is wonderful for walking enthusiasts and birders. At low tide, you can walk out to the beach, but care must always be taken to observe the local tide times. On the main street, the village pub has a friendly atmosphere and serves good food, and Stiffkey Stores is super for coffee and freshly home-baked goodies, as well as a handy place for picking up any day-to-day essentials.

If you want to explore further afield, the Coasthopper bus service runs regularly through the village and stops at all the coastal villages from Cromer through to King's Lynn.

With four bedrooms (one double, three twin), three bathrooms, and separate snug/tv room, Old Hall Farm will appeal to families, couples and friends who are looking for an extra special, secret Norfolk Hideaway.

(Small children are very welcome to stay at Old Hall Farm, but please note the river, pond and lake are open (unfenced), and little ones must therefore be supervised at all times.)
