A home away from home. Beautiful flowers, garden and landscape. Lovely lady owner who was very welcoming and kind.

We visited both- but spent more time in Liverpool. The house itself has great potential- it has a super garden we didn't even know about until the second last day! The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade and I wish there had been a kingsize bed in the master bedroom - there was plenty of space for it. Only really negative comment is I wish someone had turned the heating on before we got there- the house was freezing till the central heating kicked in- it took a day to warm up.

The goodies box we found on arrival was much appreciated. The heating system was very efficient and the beds were very comfortable. On-road parking was not a problem as Church Road was very quiet, even with the striking church clock which was surprisingly accurate. We loved Ness Gardens and our visit to RSPB at Burton Mere. The Botanic Kitchen at Ness Gardens and the Yot Cafe and Flissy Coffee Shop at Thurstaston were Covid safe places to eat. The beach at Thustaston is worth a visit, but be prepared for the 64 steps up and down. The Courtyard Cafe at Brimstage Hall Craft Centre serves super cakes! We hope to make a return visit.
