Resting in the centre of Dolgellau, this characterful cottage is a cosy little escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Couples can turn this adventure into a romantic break, or a peaceful holiday can be spent together with the family. The exterior sets the feel of the retreat upon arrival, and the same sense of old world charm continues through to the inside. Many nights will be spent snuggled up in the lounge, with exposed beams, stonework and elevated by a woodburner, which is tucked into an inglenook fireplace. The dining table has seating for four people, located close to the kitchen. Stairs lead up to the two bedrooms; a double and a twin, beautifully finished and complimented by A-frame beams, and 1800's slate seating. Both are laced with a rustic, enchanting effect that continues across the landing to the other side, making this whole floor a traditional haven. Many outdoor pursuits are on offer in Snowdonia with relaxing days out on the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey a must. The town is a designated 'cycle break centre' boasting cycle routes all around the area. A compilation of scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches make this an excellent choice for a well-rounded holiday experience.

Located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, is the small market town of Dolgellau. This holiday base is a prefect spot from which to combine the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. With a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, the town is well placed for access to other nearby coastal resorts.
