Snaptrip says

Gardeners Cottage in Cumbria is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and cosy comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the warm welcome from the hosts, including thoughtful touches like biscuits and tea. The garden is a highlight, though some noted it may not be fully secure for pets. The cottage's rural charm and proximity to local attractions make it a popular choice for a tranquil getaway.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it as 'very clean', 'impeccably clean', and the 'most clean cottage' guests have stayed in.

The location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions, though one review mentioned a discrepancy in the property's location on the website. The peaceful and rural setting is a recurring positive aspect.

Comfort is well-regarded with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. However, some guests noted the mezzanine layout and small en-suite as limiting factors.

Facilities are deemed well-equipped and sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, there are comments about limited Wi-Fi connectivity and a very small en-suite bathroom, which suggests room for improvement.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, such as biscuits, tea, and coffee. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped for 2 people and our dog. Lovely garden surrounded by fields with sheep & lambs so not secure for our inquisitive dog.
