Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms, one double and one twin, to complete the cosy interior.

The exterior of the property offers the real ‘wow factor.’ Large landscaped gardens are shared between you and the occupants of the other properties in the building, with the river running immediately next to your cottage.

Riverside walks start outside your front door, and within a mile, you will reach the village of Crosthwaite to sample some local food and ale. The leisure club of Damson Dene is within the same distance, with complimentary membership available to pamper yourself during your stay.

Further afield lies the beauty of Windermere. All the waterside activities are available, from the energetic water-sports to a leisurely cruise on the lake, all just a ten-minute drive to some of the most stunning beauty the Lake District has to offer.

Crosthwaite is a small village set in the beautiful Lyth Valley, famous for its damson trees, and boasts a lovely pub known nationally for its excellent food. Windermere and Bowness are nearby Lakeland towns with plenty of activities, interest and entertainment for all ages. Also within easy reach is the popular market town of Kendal, an historic Lakeland town with a fine reputation for shopping. Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town.
