Snaptrip says

Shepherd's View is highly praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and the luxury of a private hot tub. The property offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, with guests appreciating the enclosed garden for pets and the proximity to local attractions. Despite some minor issues with facilities and ongoing construction, the overall experience is considered excellent, with many guests eager to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the property as very clean and well-maintained, with only a single mention of a minor issue with mould that was quickly resolved.

The location is frequently described as breathtaking, with beautiful scenery and proximity to local towns and nature spots. However, some guests noted difficulty in finding the property initially.

The majority of guests found the property comfortable, with a well-laid-out space and clever storage. However, there were comments about the thin mattress and the property being very hot during warmer weather.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the hot tub. Some guests experienced issues with the oven and Wi-Fi signal, and there were comments about construction work during the day.

While guests mentioned a welcome pack and good communication with hosts, there are insufficient details to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts, and therefore a score cannot be provided.

Very easy to find the site but slight problem finding the property as it was dark when we arrived … some passers by pointed us to where we needed to be (the name of the property was on each of the gates). Would have been helpful if there was a small mini map at the entrance. Small problem with mould but this was sorted with a quick clean and didn’t come back. There was a hell of a lot of condensation on the windows and on the wall where the bed was lifted up in the day. If the heating was left on and a window was left open then this would be less of an issue - which is what we did. The microwave oven had the markings rubbed off, which meant getting used to it took some time. The entrance door was slightly warped and let in a bit of a draft. It wasn’t a major issue for us. We did try to ring one or two of the owners to make them aware of this, but never got an answer or a reply. These few things didn’t impact our stay - we thoroughly loved the property, the views and surrounding area.

Only thing I would mention which isn’t really their responsibility is, it would been nice if the gaps in the fencing are smaller as we couldn’t let our little frenchie of lead incase she could get through the gap. Apart from that lovely few nights away and the hot tub was a nice feature to have.

Had an amazing stay would recommend to everyone however the microwave/oven was very hard to use especially as all the symbols had been rubbed off so had to only use the cooker, apart from this it was amazing with the most beautiful scenery
