This end-terrace cottage is tucked away into the village of Wetwang, making the perfect base for a romantic getaway, or a short break with friends. Upon entering you will be welcomed by a cosy sitting room, tied together with characterful ceiling beams and a wood burner for an all round warm ambience whilst you relax. The nearby kitchen is softly furnished and home to all of the extras you need to prepare meals throughout the day. Afterwards, the dining table is ideal for socialising over dinner, seating up to four people so all guests can gather together amongst the lovely layout. A neatly designed family bathroom also rests on this floor, containing a bath with a shower over. Take the stairs up to the two double bedrooms, boasting a peaceful nights sleep, with the larger room housing a fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers for all of your belongings. After a long day exploring the local area, these sleeping arrangements are the perfect chance to escape into your own world and enjoy some peace and quiet. There will be plenty of time to relax in the enclosed garden, perhaps with a refreshing drink or a good book, to take in the delightful location. Wetwang has two public houses and at one end of the village is a traditional duck pond and bowling green. A little further afield is the small minster town of Beverley, steeped in history with its cobbled streets and fine architecture. The seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are an easy drive from Wetwang, and here families can enjoy the beautiful, long sandy beaches and rock pools. Approximately 40 minutes drive will take you to the beautiful city of York. It offers some incredible architecture with a wide range of shops and restaurants including The Shambles with it's wonderful markets selling a wide range of fresh and locally-sourced delights. The varied attractions include the Jorvik Viking Museum, the National Railway Museum or even take in the splendour of York Minster. Whatever you decide to do, you will surely be spoilt for choice, making a wonderful holiday at any time of the year.

Wetwang has two public houses and a renowned fish and chip shop, and at one end of the village is a traditional duck pond and bowling green. Driffield is just a few minutes’ drive away and here there is a weekly market, a good array of independent shops and a supermarket. The seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are a very easy drive from Wetwang, and families can enjoy the sandy beaches and rock pools, or alternatively you can spend a day in the city of York.
