This 17th century grand manor house, which can sleep up to 37 guests, provides a truly special experience for large groups looking for a tranquil venue to unwind in without compromising on activities to keep you occupied. Located in a bucolic setting just 9 miles from Edinburgh, the options for days out range from historic tours of the city, golfing trips and visits to whiskey distilleries. Furthermore, the village of Gorebridge is a short walk away, ensuring that during your stay you will never be far away from basic amenities.

Those who would prefer a quieter time and are less willing to venture out will not be disappointed either. The house itself boasts a wide array of provisions to keep a group engaged throughout their stay. These include relaxing with a book somewhere in the mature wildlife gardens, talking long into the night in front of the open fire in the lounge, or making use of the extensive activities found in the Games Room. Here you will find a pool table, board games and air hockey table as well as a number of books guaranteeing that those of all ages have a number of opportunities to get their competitive juices flowing!

A few of the other highlights include the German designed contemporary kitchen, which provides all the equipment and storage space necessary to self-cater; the Grand Bedroom, which boasts a spectacular gold leaf domed ceiling and is a truly luxurious space to enjoy a night’s sleep; and the Hot Tub, available to hire at an extra cost. We are located 9 miles from Edinburgh, with good transport links, including a train station in Gorebridge, which is a short walk away. A VIP transfer link into the city is also available on request.

Gorebridge itself has a small village shop and pub, which is useful for getting small items quickly.

The area has plenty of things to do, such as visiting the National Mining Museum, which provides an insight into the local area's historic industry, a round of golf at the Vogrie Country Park, or travelling to the Glenkinchie distillery to sample some of the local tipple.

*Please note that depending on group size you will have access to different bedrooms. So for groups of 22, you will have exclusive use of all the facilities and access to 8 bedroos. For groups larger than this, you will have access to four more additional bedrooms on the upper floor.
*Please also note, the estate has 3 separate tenants, so other people may be onsite, (the other two tenants have apartments around the back of the property using separate entrances) the main house is booked exclusively the tenants have no access to the main house!
