Spacious, with an airy feel, this self-contained and comfortable apartment has a secluded sitting-out area with hot tub for guests’ use. It makes a wonderful place to relax in after a day out exploring the area or taking in the sea air along the gorgeous coastline. The owner also provides guests with bathrobes, slippers and towels. The clear waters here are the base for a resident colony of bottlenose dolphins, and there are several companies in the vicinity running wildlife cruises, when you may also spot seals, many seabirds and even whales. Golf enthusiasts have a lovely links course practically on the doorstep, which has stunning views over the bay. Guests benefit from unlimited free golf for up to 4 people on the nearby Cullen golf course, for the full duration of their stay. Local dishes include Cullen skink, a hearty chowder-like fish soup; the nearby Cullen Bay Hotel holds the title of World Champion for this tasty dish! Moray is also known for its whisky, and there are many famous distilleries within an hour’s drive of the village. Cullen has a great variety of local amenities, good pubs and cafés, as well as a fabulous ice cream shop opposite the property. There is plenty to do here for all ages and abilities. Beach 300 yards. Shop 100 yards, pub 200 yards and restaurant 50 yards.

"Having stayed in Cullen on many previous occasions, we were looking forward to returning. Firstly, the positives....great location in the centre of the village with parking outside the front door. So on arrival, we found that there was no 'Welcome pack" in the kitchen, no big deal but why advertise it? The property was grubby and very much "surface clean". Internally the decor was tired, with chipped walls, the handles on the kitchen cupboards were peeling. There were only 5 dinner plates in the kitchen, (we were a party of 6). The crockery and dishes were old, chipped and mismatched. There were also a couple of safety concerns..... Cupboard off the hall - there is a small step down into the cupboard, which should be highlighted as a couple of our party slipped going into the cupboard. Parts of the property have low ceilings, again no signage to indicate same.Basic attention to detail was lacking, remote control in the twin room required new batteries, info folder was basic with no instructions for use of the electrical appliances. There was however, recycling info detailing which bin to use, not ideal though as all the exterior bins were full to the brim on our arrival!The biggest gripe were the poor quality mattresses, pillows and duvets. The pillows were old and thin and the duvets were the same. In fact, we went to the Tesco in Buckie to buy new pillows as they were so thin and flat. The mattress were poor quality, as were the paper mattress covers!!! There were no additional bedding or towels provided, which I would expect especially for a 7 night stay. It is my understanding the owners have recently sold the property, it seems that perhaps they have lost any interest in providing a quality product, very disappointing."

"We had a fab weekend at seafield cottage. Family getaway and just what we needed. Hot tub was a wee treat. Clean, comfortable and warm. First class all round. PS,There was some traffic noise from the street in the 2 front bedrooms but didn’t particularly bother us."

"What an amazing place. Beautiful walks and stunning views. The cottage is perfect and much bigger than I thought. Loved the board games left and the hot tub was brilliant. We went for afternoon tea at Rockpool Cafe across the road and it was delicious. I will definitely be back soon. We all had a ball. Thank you to the owners."

"overall good value for money - but no welcome pack as advertised in detail - even a pint of milk ?- especially for a family - we being a family of 6 - also no dvd facility in the small living room - essential with a family - although tvs have dvd players in bedrooms - not needed rather please as advertised dvd in living room - this was flagged to owners who were not able to fix this - a warning sign on low ceiling - for a short break good value for money - but with a family a table would have been great - good location - good access to hot tub - fab ice cream shop and chip shop all just opposite !"
