A spacious luxury cottage with a well-equipped kitchen/diner, and a huge sitting room with a woodburning stove. There are also two bedrooms, both with king-size beds, TVs and en-suite facilities so you can relax in utter comfort. One room has a flexible zip/link bed and a double en-suite shower, the second has an en-suite jet shower. Outside is a large, totally private sunbathing area adjoining a large garden overlooking a small lake. A superb cottage in a beautiful setting, offering total relaxation. Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath has a local shop and Post Office, a small museum, the Lanreath Farm and Folk Museum, as well as a parish church. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse which dates back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwalls second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe.

Any future guests will find out that the WiFi is non existent at this cottage and together with absolutely no mobile phone signal you will not be able to do anything on social media or contact anyone whilst in this cottage. If you had an emergency you would be in trouble staying in this cottage! The cottage has 5 TVs 3 are smart but they are a waste of space as you have no WiFi signal so you just get a few channels. The rest just flicker. The two TVs in the kitchen? They are radio only? How weird! The double bed is so low to the the floor and so uncomfortable. Their is no door on the kitchen so when you cook the smoke alarm goes off so easy. You need to be a scientist to operate the shower in the double bedroom. The outside lights when turned on, go on off on off continuously. The sensor is faulty. You need a 4x4 to navigate the drive up & down just before the cottage. So uneven and slippery in wet conditions. The one good thing about this cottage is the peace and quiet.

No mobile coverage at all - again rural location but would be sensible to highlight this. Patio furniture not clean and of poor quality. BBQ only available as a shared facility a walk up the lane to the other properties. Games room very tired - only one dart, cue ball for pool table badly worn. On a positive note - we loved our stay here. Loverly and secluded, great to see the farm animals. Showers great once you get them working, loverly welcome gifts. Nice and clean with all the kitchen items that you would need. Owners were great and very helpful.
