This detached house offers an excellent base for families from which to explore the Northumberland Heritage Coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Formerly S80519 situated on the cusp of the traditional village of Seahouses, this detached property has undergone a makeover to provide comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation conveniently located all on one level. There is the friendly comfort of a wood burner in the living room making this property a cosy choice regardless of the season. Doors lead to a conservatory overlooking the pretty garden and all three bedrooms, the family bathroom and the kitchen are also well presented.

S80519 is located within north Sunderland and situated at the edge of Seahouses. There is a wide array of facilities including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops all around a mile away. Boat trips to the Farne Islands, which are famous for their nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies, run from the harbour. Horse riding is available within a gentle stroll from S80519 and there’s an impressive golf course on the links around a mile away. The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, protected by its dramatic fortress, is only 2 miles north with its wide expanse of golden, and often empty, sandy beaches, and where the tidal island of Lindisfarne, locally known as ’Holy Island’ and the birthplace of Christianity in the UK, can be viewed. A further 2 miles up the coastline brings you to Waren Mill, which is steeped in history. Once an important port, its harbour has long since disappeared, silted up beneath the sands of the estuary. Budle Bay is a bird sanctuary and at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats is the home to countless sea and land birds, making this location a haven for bird watchers. The market town of Alnwick, with its own castle offers many facilities a few miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its Grand Cascade Waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe. Beach 1 mile. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

"No instructions for the hob, oven & microwave.No real cleaning things or bags.Toilet seat loose and obviously loose so why not fixed when and if cleaned before we arrived, I have a bruise when I fell to catch my fall from hitting the bath.The fitted sheet on the double bed was the wrong size not a deep fitted one which it should have been, which kept pinging off everytime you moved.The mattress was well past it’s sell by date you could feel the springs.Batteries needed for the tv remote, not working.Monday into early Tuesday woke up at 3am by next door neighbour and the search lights.Light out in kitchen near the kettle.Not written in the guest book because nothing is done if you do.Previous customers have made the same complaints/niggles in 2017 and nothing has been done about any of them, the same things I am talking about now. Cleaners making comments in the book after the people have gone is pointless because it does not help the customer who had made the comment."

"Excellent cottage to stay in and very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need, a second toilet would definitely be more beneficial, especially with 5 adults trying to get ready in the mornings. I would definitely recommend it though as it was perfect location wise for what we needed and extremely comfortable with a lovely conservatory to sit in and well presented garden area."
