This charming semi-detached cottage is surrounded by mountains and woodland in the village of Dinas Mawddwy. The cottage is in a quiet setting and is ideal for a family or friends who are looking to explore Snowdonia National Park. There is a very well-equipped contemporary kitchen which has a traditional dining area with space for the whole group to enjoy meals together. The useful utility room provides space to leave your boots after you have been out and about exploring. The comfortable sitting room has an electric stove to warm yourselves on cooler evenings and is a lovely space to spend time together. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, all of which have sloping ceilings and large Velux windows which provide views out to the surrounding countryside. These bedrooms share use of the family bathroom. Outside is a delightful courtyard patio where you can enjoy your morning hot drink while you discuss plans for the day. This setting will inspire you to head out and discover the many walking trails available in the area and the nearby mountains beckon you further into the National Park, plus the cottage has fishing rights on the River Dovey. The nearest town of Dolgellau is a fifteen minute drive away and provides numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. Mountain bikers will be in their element and for something a bit different why not visit the Owain Glyndwr centre in Machynlleth or the Centre for Alternative Technology. With such a variety of activities on offer, 2 Stable Cottage is a fantastic choice.

An attractive, single-street village surrounded by beautiful countryside and overlooked by the wonderful Aran Mountains, in the southern part of Snowdonia National Park. There is a pub in the village and a number of others close by and the Meirion Woollen Mill stands on the banks of the River Dovey and is open to visitors. The delightful town of Dolgellau, which nestles beside the foothills of one of the most spectacular mountains in Wales, Cader Idris, is only 10 miles away and its 17th Century bridges, church and variety of pubs and eating houses create a pleasant atmosphere.
