In the summer months you can even hop aboard the Waverley Paddle Steamer for a spot of island hopping. Located on the Firth of Clyde, the town of Largs is a traditional Scottish seaside resort, with a Victorian promenade situated just over 30 miles from Glasgow. Largs offers a variety of shops, including some chain and some independent stores, plus there are several pubs and restaurants. Visit Vikingar, a family Viking experience or enjoy the amusement arcades on the promenade whilst indulging in an ice-cream. With sailing and golf on the doorstep too, Largs really does have something for everyone.
