About this property

A spacious, traditional timber holiday lodge with a hot tub, on the water's edge at Duck Lake, a picturesque 4-acre fishing lake within Tattershall Lakes Country Park, in the heart of Lincolnshire. With a modern, open plan interior, this Tattershall lodge is ideal for families and friends to partake in the excellent on-site facilities available. Well-appointed throughout, this detached holiday lodge offers two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double bed with TV, the other having two single beds and French doors opening onto a veranda overlooking the lake. The bedrooms share Jack-and-Jill access to a spacious bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath. A spiral staircase leads you up to the first floor, where you will find the lounge, with comfy seating and a large flat screen TV. French doors take you out onto a veranda where you can enjoy superb views over the lake all through the year, and is the perfect place to sit and perhaps on some days enjoy a flyby by the locally based Battle of Britain memorial flight. The veranda is perfect for fishing with its own private fishing peg, relaxing and contemplating how you might choose to spend the day, whilst enjoying an alfresco breakfast. You can even relax with a glass of champagne in the luxurious hot tub. Tattershall Park offers excellent on-site facilities, including water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, a golf course, 3 fishing lakes, bars, a restaurant, indoor pool and children's play area. Within easy travelling distance of this Tattershall holiday home you can discover Lincolnshire's fabulous sandy beaches as well as it’s more vibrant traditional seaside towns hosting many family attractions. Aviation enthusiasts will enjoy the Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby or perhaps a family day out exploring nearby Tattershall Castle. There really is something for everyone to enjoy whilst staying at this wonderfully located Lincolnshire lodge.

Nestling between the Fens and the Wolds, is Tattershall Lakes Country Park. Tattershall Park consists of 365 acres offering woodlands, lakes and open spaces. There is a 60-acre water skiing and a 45-acre jet skiing lake, golf course, three lakes covering all aspects of coarse fishing, two bars, one with lake views, a restaurant, children's play area and an on-site supermarket. Should you wish to venture outside this great location, a wealth of attractions can be found. NT's Tattershall Castle is next to Tattershall Park, and further afield Belvoir Castle, Burghley House and Belton House are all well worth a visit.
