Enjoy nostalgic Irish farm life with a visit to the walk-in chicken run to collect eggs and feed the hens, watch or take part in the feeding of the calves and horses or the milking of the cows. There's also an orchard to peruse when in season, with apples, pears, cherries and plums available. When you're ready to leave, there's so much to see and do from this Ballyragget cottage. The nearby village of Durrow features a variety of quality restaurants including the grand Durrow Castle. There are many opportunities for fishermen along the nearby River Nore, and walkers and cyclists can easily explore the rolling countryside.
