The chalet is fantastic - so much space! We are a family of 6 and normally when we go away, we struggle, but not here. It has everything you could possibly need. The views from the chalet are incredible. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire time we were there, but we would love to come back again in summer months so we could also use the outside space. A BBQ on the decking with that view would be amazing!

The Lodge is set high up in the hills so a car is vital unless you are really fit.The Lodge has everything you need but it needs a little TLC .It would be great in summer sitting out on the decking with the stunning views.

It is quite high-up in the hills behind Aberdovey and the "low cloud" weather meant the lodge was in the clouds :) It is a single-file lane that leads to the lodge park but was not a problem as we were there out-of-high-season. The views were amazing. The weather was not good enough for us to enjoy the decking and outdoor facilities but there were plenty and in summer would be magnificent. The car park is a little way from the lodge with steps down and up to the lodge, so could be awkward for moving alot of cases etc..Facilities were perfect which means you don't have to take all your kitchen stuff. All the equipment was in good working order and the heaters in the bedroom were very efficient. The gas heater in the lounge seemed to give-up after a short time, which may have been the gas was low but we didn't delve too much as it wasn't freezing. The beds were comfortable and clean. The lounge and conservatory suites were also comfortable and clean. The french doors onto the decking could do with being more secure. The shower was hot and a good pressure. Plenty of parking space. Great for dogs (we have 2 well behaved Shar Pei). Overall we had a fab holiday, even with the dodgy weather.
