    Mrs Catterall
"Very pleased with the cottage. Comfortable, well equipped and had a welcoming atmosphere. Situated close to both local amenities and main roads for exploring the surrounding coasts and countryside."
    Yvonne S
"Greeted by very friendly hosts and felt at home as soon as we stepped through the door. Our little dog was made to feel equally welcome and she settled in immediately. Large beautiful secure garden to the front and a smaller, secure garden to the side. Two large lounges and well equipped kitchen plus three bedrooms and a large bathroom made this a very comfortable place to stay. It was immaculate. Weather was not always kind to us but it was not a chore to relax and stay in. Lovely places to visit and all in all a very good holiday, will strongly recommend."
    Mrs Sheldon
"This was a beautiful, very spacious, clean, comfy home. Everything you would want from a holiday let. Secure gardens for pet, one large to the front of the house and one small one to the side. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Lots to explore within easy reach, Castles, beaches etc., including shops nearby. Furniture was so comfy that on the odd rainy day it was not much of a chore to stay in. Beds also led to a good nights sleep."
    Mrs Robinson
"The house was spacious and well equipped with a pretty garden. The house was in a very pretty setting and although close to the town it seemed quite rural and in an ideal location to get to some beautiful beaches and other tourist attractions. It was close to a supermarket for supplies. The area was not too busy and ought to be a good alternative to Cornwall."
    Ms Alison Steadman, Prescot, Merseyside
"The Old Manor House was a wonderful base for our holiday. Well equipped, comfortable and extremely clean. The owners were lovely and there was loads of information on places to visit. The garden was stunning and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out till dusk on several occasions."
    Mrs Juliet Meikle, Ingatestone, Essex
"The location was very good and central to many areas, plus close to amenities. Really liked the size of the cottage, there was plenty of space to not be on top of each other. In peaceful surroundings and the beautiful old ruins in the garden made us feel we were in a Bronte or Austin novel! The owners gave a very detailed holiday manual with guide books to use and maps, which were invaluable. I personally really liked the exceptionally well equipped kitchen where cooking a roast for Easter Sunday was a breeze. The owners should be congratulated on such a well equipped cottage, and I would recommend it to anyone."

"I was met on arrival by welcoming hosts Juliet and David and provided with tea and Welsh cakes. House was immaculate, very well equipped and set in beautiful surroundings. Will certainly re-visit in the near future and look forward to sitting in the wonderful garden. Highly recommended."
    Mr Steven Maddox, Shrewsbury, Shropshire

    Mrs Paula Wilson, Rhayader, Powys

    Mr Colin Mcbain, Gravesend, Kent
"The Old Manor House was fantastic, one of the best holiday places we have ever stayed in, if not the best! It was well equipped, comfortable, homely and peaceful, with plenty of room and space inside and out. It is also close to all the other attractions in the area like Heatherton, Folly Farm and Oakwood. Brilliant!"
    Rachel B
"A lovely huge cottage with a wonderful garden. The house is really clean and homely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the owners are lovely and friendly and the area is stunning. Really good value for money compared to many other holiday cottages we have stayed in. We would definitely hope to return. Loads to do in the area as well. Parking was a little bit tight for our large MPV but the owners said we could park on their drive so it wasn't a problem."
Mrs Christine Blow, Bury, Greater Manchester
"A large property that was very well equipped, and had a lovely garden and helpful owners."
    - Mrs Jackson, April 2017
"The Old Manor House is an old big house with big rooms. It is built on the ruins of the original manor house which was built at least 400 years ago and some of the ruins are still in the garden which gives it a lot of character. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and had every thing we needed. We stayed for a week and went out every day. The weather was better than we expected and generally better than forecast. Tenby is a lovely town to wonder through. Penralt is a very good garden centre in the north of Pembrokeshire with a lovely drive to get to it. We had a lovely drive exploring the coast from Saundersfoot to Pendine and then on to Pembury Country park. St. David's Cathedral exceeded our expectations and it also serves a lovely lunch. We highly recommend a visit to the Welsh National Botanical Gardens. Stackpole Estate including Bosherton lily lakes and Broadhaven South and Barafundle beaches are lovely places for walking - you could easily spend more than a day here. We highly recommend the cottage and the area."
    - Mrs Daniels, April 2017
"The whole experience was fantastic. Mr and Mrs Lambourne were really friendly and really helpful and they had thought of everything as far as peoples needs inside the cottage even down to the welsh cakes left for us on our arrival. The cottage was lovely, spacious and comfortable and the garden was beautiful. We had a really lovely break."
    - Mr Unterhalter, June 2017
"The Cottage was very cosy, well appointed and there was great attention to detail. We wanted for nothing. Bonus was the lovely garden which we thoroughly enjoyed and an excellent location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful."
    - Ms Thomas, July 2017
"The hosts were most welcoming, and the property was extremely comfortable, well kitted out, and spacious. It appeared secluded, but was actually very close to retail outlets and numerous attractions and beaches."
    Mrs Jane O'Flaherty, Stevenage, Hertfordshire
"Perfect! The cottage was perfectly situated, absolutely spotlessly clean, warm & cosy. Had a fabulous garden, lovely furniture and everything you could possibly think of or need. Had good quality towels and 100% cotton sheets. Loved every minute - 11 out of 10 for our stay."
    Mrs Dawn Mayall, Birmingham,
"It was restful and we could just relax in the gardens or go out. The owner had a tray ready for our arrival with milk, tea and coffees also Welsh cakes. Very welcoming"
Mr Kym Warren, Glen Oak, Nsw, Australia
"Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother for them. The house and gardens were impeccable. We found the property to be perfectly located for our needs. We have no hesitation in recommending this property and would stay again should we be in the area."
Mrs Sophie Bickerstaff, Leeds, West Yorkshire
"Very homely and garden a lovely addition. Although this house is very near a lot of facilities it feels quiet and rural. Lots of room and good value for money."
    Mr Michael White, Redditch,
"A beautiful period cottage well maintained by the owners. I hope to return in the future."
Mrs Claire Gray, Manchester, Greater Manchester
"The cottage was perfect; there was a lot of room for the 6 of us. It was in a brilliant location to discover Pembrokeshire and was central for the supermarkets and the pub. There are some nice eating places close by and loads of beaches to visit."
    Mrs Elizabeth Ellis, Knebworth, Hertfordshire
"The house was very thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped, the beds were comfortable and the garden and grounds a delightful sanctuary. The owners were keen to get everything right and attended to everything carefully. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily recommend the house to anyone seeking a great base to explore Pembrokeshire."
    Mrs Gillian Mcfauld, Swindon,
"The cottage was so well laid out, the gardens especially being enclosed which was really excellent. The wildlife which visited the garden even the sparrow hawk!. I would definitely recommend this property, so clean and inviting, we had the most relaxing holiday for such a long time. We will be back."
Mrs Jane How, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire
"The house was perfect for our stay. Basins in the rooms helped as we had 6 staying. Would definitely stay again."

"The Old Manor House was very comfortable with plenty of space and all the facilities you would expect in a holiday cottage. We enjoyed the choice of two living rooms and were able to relax in comfort. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and the kitchen had all the modern comforts. We enjoyed sitting and playing in the garden when the weather allowed. The clothes line in the back garden was useful for drying clothes. The location was close to a supermarket for provisions and well located for exploring all parts of Pembrokeshire. There was nowhere really to walk so a car was essential. There is so much to see and do in this region. Our daughter loved the Blue Lagoon Water Park which was a godsend on rainy days. There are lovely towns to explore like Tenby, Haverfordwest, Narberth and St Davids as well as a beautiful coastline and beaches like Barafundle and Whitesands. The owners live next door and were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back one day."
    Mr Meredith, Swindon, Wiltshire

    Miss Evans, Woodbridge, Suffolk
"This was a beautiful house in a great location with very friendly owners."
    Mr Dunford, Bath, Somerset
"The house was lovely, very comfortable, the gardens were beautiful, very quiet. The location was close to a supermarket for provisions and accessible to lots of lovely places to visit. There was plenty to see and do, more than we had time for in fact. The owners welcomed us on arrival, and were more than helpful when we had any questions. "
    Mr Jones, Caerphilly, Caerffili
"It was well equipped base with beautiful gardens in a peaceful location."

"Extremely well equipped cottage. Plenty of space for people and a dog! Very friendly owners but not 'over powering'. Great area of Wales. Pembroke Dock is not very pretty but very handy for supermarkets and the position of the cottage makes you feel that you're in the countryside anyway. Big garden, near fabulous beaches - car useful although there is a railway station within walking distance. Great holiday. Highly recommended."
