Nice house that is well positioned close to the sea front and the High St. Bedrooms on 1st floor are pleasant and airy and were very clean. Main bathroom is good but shower in 2nd bathroom is tatty and hot water stops if run elsewhere in the house. Lounge and front room very dusty and over furnished, leaving little room. We had great weather so wasn't an issue but if you had to spend more time inside then would have been a concern. Pleasant garden with good quality furniture. None of the downstairs sash windows open which isn't good.

The keeper of the cottage was easily accessible. The furnishings were very interesting. There was a very extensive library. The house was very damp and cool but the dampness was to be expected because of the age of the cottage and the proximity to the sea. We had an issue getting the heat on.The house was in need of a better cleaning noted especially in the cupboards and the shower unit. It was nice that they left extra towels in the closet because with a large family a few extra were nice to have. The back garden was a bit overgrown and could have had some tending to. I noticed that someone said the house exactly as seen in the picture that is true but the things I mentioned were not in the picture.

A lovely house on the Kent south coast. Well appointed and spotlessly clean. A great location for walks or cycling along the coast. Fantastic local attractions such as Dover Castle, Walmer Castle and Deal Castle. Weather permitting ideal location for quick daytrip accross the Channel.
