    These stylish properties are located within a quiet, residential cul-de-sac and provide delightful living accommodation. Saffron (UKC397) is a detached four-bedroomed family home that provides wheelchair access to the ground floor, and generous double bedrooms. Crocus (UKC3429) is a semi-detached one-bedroomed bungalow that provides an idyllic enclosed lawned garden.
    Within half a mile of the property facilities include a pub, shop selling homemade Cornish pasties, a children’s play park, fish and chip shop, restaurants and takeaways. Situated within a short walk is St Austell town centre and railway station.
    Saffron also provides easy access to the nearby clay trails and popular tourist attractions including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Charlestown harbour, the home of the tall ships and various pubs. The working fishing village of Mevagissey is located just 4 miles away and is a popular tourist area. The nearby harbour town of Fowey is located just 7 miles distant, and offer outstanding days out, coupled with a car ferry service to Polruan. Beaches are found at Charlestown, Porthpean and Crinnis, and are all within 10 minutes’ drive. Truro with its Gothic cathedral, cinema, theatre, shopping and museum is well worth a day out and is within 30 minutes’ drive. Many walks can be taken around this part of the county from coastal rambles, disused heritage trails that cross the county, to inland wooded walks to something a little more strenuous for the more active. Horse riding, surfing, cycling and National Trust houses and gardens are plentiful in the area. A little further afield but easily reached is Truro, Padstow, Newquay, St Ives and Lostwithiel all providing an alternative view of this dramatic and beautiful county. Fishing can be found locally. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

    "The house was a good size and spacious for7 adults and and a toddler.Each bedroom had an ensuite and good wardrobe space and draws.The curtains in the main bedroom were very creased and the bedding in all the rooms could be improved as it was very dated.Good size dining table but some chairs well used and clicked.The garage and the hut at the back had old curtains and sheets hung up at the windows and looked scruffy.The garden at back is a good size and nice dining table and chairs.There are some nice sun loungers but needed a good clean and one was broken.The garden had lots of nice pots in but they were all full of weeds which spoilt it.Lovely touch of cream tea left for us."
