The property description on the website is a fair one. We found everything much as we expected, and hoped for, as a couple of friends who wanted to explore this beautiful coastal area, walking every day but coming back to cook meals in the evenings. The cottage was more than well-equipped for our purposes. We liked the easy parking and the good light inside. The good-sized fridge was so useful in the hot weather, but we struggled a little without fans in the converted roof bedrooms. Pack light nightwear in summer! The roof lights do open, which helped a little. We appreciated the good storage space upstairs for our clothing - lots of drawers and hanger space. This is an end cottage on a busy road, so families with young children or less mobile people might find it a bit too far to walk into Tenby regularly, but we actually enjoyed the 20 minute energetic yomp most days, to and from the town, even loaded with supermarket shopping! It was very quiet in the evenings. There are some pretty countryside walks very close by for evening/morning strolls. The patio garden was by the road and you have to go out the front door and through a gate to reach it, but it’s safely enclosed, and it did provide a shady outdoor area to escape the heat. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a well-renovated, thoughtfully equipped, interesting little cottage! Recommend it!
