The well-equipped kitchen ensures that meals can be prepared with ease and enjoyed together around the table. Ullapool is a perfect holiday location, and makes a great base for touring this magical area with its undiscovered beaches, forests, hidden glens with grazing stags, and tumbling waterfalls. Take a boat trip to the enchanting Summer Isles and see seals and porpoises or spot an eagle soaring overhead. Ullapool offers excellent local facilities and there is a wide choice of restaurants serving local seafood, pubs with local ales and hotels. Just a short walk away is The Ceildh Place, a real hot spot for live entertainment, combined with its laid-back, cultured ambience. Being just over an hour’s drive from Inverness, guests can head east for a day out in the capital city of the Highlands and perhaps visit Culloden Battlefield or the famous Loch Ness. There is so much to see and do and this is a wonderful cottage to return to at the end of a busy day!

Ullapool, nestling on the shores of Loch Broom and overlooking the Summer Isles, is the largest settlement in Wester Ross. The town offers some lovely pubs and restaurants, a range of shops including a well-stocked supermarket, a challenging coastal golf course and a museum and Visitor Centre. Ullapool is an ideal base from which to explore the North West of Scotland, with most of the main tourist attractions an easy drive away
