The cottage is set in a very peaceful location, with the owners located at the far end of the property together with their chickens and ducks, which are a delight to watch from some of the rooms or while enjoying a morning cuppa outside. Springtime gives you the chance to see newly-born lambs in the surrounding fields. With underfloor heating and a warming woodburner, this is also the perfect holiday cottage for cooler months as well as in summertime, and one of the joys will surely be the ever-changing views, with each season showing such different colours. The beautifully-presented and very well-equipped accommodation has everything to make this a memorable holiday. Make hearty meals, snacks and picnics in the pretty kitchen, relax in the sitting room and have a good night’s sleep in one of the charming bedrooms, which both offer en-suite facilities; the cottage is perfect for a family holiday but also for two couples. Sitting and enjoying the view is tempting, but taking countryside walks and bike rides will also be a joy. The National Botanical Gardens nearby offer superb gardens and woodlands to explore; they also host a variety of events all year round. Days at nearby sandy beaches, exploration of castles such as Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn or shopping in the county town of Carmarthen or the unique shops in Llandeilo, are all close at hand. Whatever you see as your perfect holiday, this cottage will fit the bill and you will be eager to revisit.

Llanarthney is a small village scattered along the B4300, and is home to a lovely pub serving food and The National Botanic Garden of Wales.
