The mature and wild garden is south-facing offering a fabulous sunny spot all day long, or head off to explore the spacious surroundings that lead straight onto the striking surrounding moorland. The area offers stunning views and is woven together with countless country footpaths, and with common land surrounding the property, it means you can literally start your walking adventure from the doorstep. The sleepy village of Llanbister has a small selection of amenities, including The Lion, a friendly local pub that serves good food. A short drive away is Llandrindod Wells, where you can still take the waters, as made fashionable in Victorian times, and the town still boasts many of the magnificent buildings. Why not spend the day at the Llandrindod Wells Golf Course, with its elevated position offering fantastic views, or fishing the Llandrindod Lakes? Just short drives away are the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells and the delightful market town of Rhayader, well worth a visit.
