Lovely stay over new year very happy with the lodge and surroundings

The accommodation was very modern looking and extremely well furnished with a very practical kitchen area. The lodge was located some 8 miles from the main Penrith to Keswick road. The only drawback with the lodges location was the lack of amenities within walking distance and if a public house would of been nearby it would of received a 4 star rating.

Lovely place but a few small things let it down - wish the heating & hot water had been put on before we arrived, was very cold & had to wait several hours for heat & hot water. Bin lid was broken, no oven gloves, no hand towels & only 1 tea towel, lots of crumbs under sofas & TV on it's way out - funny colour! Terrible mattress gave us both back ache. But great place overall!
