Experience - The Area...
Nestled in a secluded Cornish valley, Flying Hooves is situated midway between the Cathedral City of Truro and the picturesque harbourside town of Falmouth which are about a 10 minute drive respectively.
This comfortable detached single storey cottage benefiting from its own enclosed little garden is set within the grounds of the owners home, with views of about 10 acres of fields where the owners sometimes keep their shire horses. Conveniently located with easy road access and close to amenities, this double glazed property offers warm and cosy accommodation from modern electric radiators and enjoys restful views along the pretty valley.
Ponsanooth, half a mile, has a traditional village pub, local store/P.O. and church, there is a large supermarket at Penryn, 10 minutes' drive, and picturesque woodland walks are close by at Kennall Vale Nature Reserve.
Falmouth with the National Maritime Museum is about 4 miles, Truro, the Capital of Cornwall, is 6 miles and approximately a 10 minute drive from the water activities of Restronguet Creek and Mylor Harbour. There are many gardens open to the public including the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick and Trebah all within a 40 minute drive respectively.
Stay - The Accommodation...Fronted by a small paved patio with bench seat, from here, French Windows open directly into a pleasantly light living room with a smartly fitted galley kitchen, two comfortable leather recliner chairs, a small bistro dining set and tile effect laminate flooring which continues throughout.
An inner hallway gives access to a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, an adjacent fully tiled shower room W.C. with hand basin and wide shower cubicle, and a rear porch with laundry facilities and coat pegs.
The private and sheltered back garden is fully enclosed with a small lawn, the sounds of a trickling stream, and a level path and side gate leading to the tarmac parking area in front of the cottage. The accommodation is completely on one level with no internal steps making it suitable for the less mobile.
Don't forget...- No cot, carrycot accepted.

We have just returned from our second visit to Flying Hooves. An ideal cottage for two in a quiet location with lovely views. Location is well placed to visit east, west and south Cornwall and the owners are lovely. Hope to return again in the future.
