For the less energetic, take a train from Gunnislake to Plymouth, enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Tamar valley on the way. Close to this Honicombe Manor cottage is a donkey sanctuary, the Victorian mining village at Morwhellam Quay, used as the location for the The Edwardian Farm TV series, and Dartmoor National Park. Gunnislake lies on the banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. The village sits at one end of the scenic Tamar Valley Railway - with regular services to Plymouth.
