"Lovely cottage everything there well stocked beds a1 but just getting end of season ware"

"Excellent accommodation, very rural, but the pool, hottub and sauna make up for it. Good base to visit lots of different beaches around Cornwall, like Praa sands what an amazing surfing beach. Penzance is drivable and so is St Ives."

"Just returned from a lovely week at Lamorna. The cottage is conveniently located for Falmouth and the surrounding areas and is easy to find. The cottage is well presented. We made good use of the pool as it is heated even on cooler days it was good to use.We found the cottage well equipped including things like a drying rack and iron plus ironing board but did find a few items missing in the kitchen for example a steak hammer is in the draw but no wooden spoon meaning that cutlery has to be used on the high quality non stick frying pan. The carpets and sofa are well worn and ideally would be replaced soon. The complex really could benefit from providing an outdoor BBQ area. One thing we did notice is that the building does suffer from damp. It has been repainted recently and this covers it well but you can see in the corner bedroom that damp is coming up the wall. This is a conversion of an old building so it will be an ongoing problem. As of August 2018 the entire complex is for sale so the owners probably have little appetite for major works so be aware if visiting in the wet season.Overall we had a great week and would recommend Lamorna"

"Very nice place and location. Please leave more information about local pubs restaurants, walks etc in the accommodation in order for guests to use the local facilities that are on the doorstep but not apparent. Also a small barbecue for each of the cottages would have been really good even if it was on a hire basis."

"Very clean and modern. Very helpful and responsive staff. We had an odd fungus growing in the house when we arrived , to be fair the staff responded immediately and resolved the problem. The kitchen was well equipped . Nice swimming pool , warm and clean. Unusual for a cottage ,nice new white bedding and towels. I think this cottage could be improved by the following: beds replaced, mine was ok but not the best, replace the outside table and chairs, uncomfortable and ours was unstable, provide a map of the complex. otherwise happy with the stay."

"Accommodation nice and clean and very comfortable. We cannot fault the site manager. He was so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely consider staying here again if we want to holiday in that area. Directions to the site were easy to understand and follow and communication before arrival was good."

"Sadly facilities not working. Pool dirty and not inviting at all, hot tub unusable with rubbish and tiles missing. Should have had a washer dryer but dryer not working due to a design fault. No waterfall and working well all wired up. Extractor fan on shower not working. Car park flooded with youths using three garages as workshops. Whole property was tacky. Fridge door broken, handles missing on chest of drawers and wardrobe door wouldn't shut. Toilet roll holder adrift. Sensor on car park light not working. Not value for money. Poor."

"Nice location and lovely cottage. Very friendly manager however the accommodation could have been cleaner. We asked for a new kettle as the one in the property was dangerous. Non was forthcoming. Overall the property was tired and needed some work. The hot tub on arrival was green but was changed by the next day. I would stay again but for the price I expected more."

"The cottage was lovely clean and comfortable with all home from home comforts. The lack of WiFi (with the exception of the games room) was an issue and the location was more remote than we first thought which is why we wouldn't stay again. The swimming pool was clean and although slightly cold even in August (but thats UK weather for you!) it was a nice added bonus to have on site. For future info: a taxi from the local pub back to the holiday cottages cost £20 this is because they charge from Falmouth. Martha who works at the local pub (The Red lion) was really helpful and informative and the food there was good value for money. They called a taxi for us too which was great cinsidering the lack of phone signal in the area!"
    Sarah
"Lovely clean and spacious accommodation . Nice courtyard setting. Manager introduced himself to ensure all was well. Wifi could do with improving as it is pretty essential these days, especially in rural areas where phone signal is poor. Good recommended pub in village. Good disabled access, a handrail in shower would make it even easier. Enjoyable week."

"A spacious and well furnished property in a lovely location with good facilities. Just a few minor gripes: Wi-Fi is virtually non-existent (very poor signal in Games Room only), cottage was somewhat dark, availability of car parking was sometimes limited, and "heated" swimming pool was a little on the cold side. But still a lovely family location and great week. Note that it is a relatively remote location though and you will need to drive for virtually anything you want to do."

"Quiet with local amenities within driving distance - loved the spa. Swimming pool could be a bit warmer. Handyman onsite available and friendly. Cottage nice, nice environment and beautiful scenery. We wanted a quiet location and it provided what we wanted. Locals unbelievably friendly and really made an effort to make one feel welcome. Lovely week and will go again. Just wish it wasn't that far from where we live - up North."
    Marjorie
"We spent a very nice week here at the beginning of the Easter Holidays. As it was the school break, the price was raised which does affect how we feel about the amenities on offer. In that respect I would say that the cottage was very comfortable with just a few minor niggles: the wrong remote control for the television, no teapot, or bottle opener, but otherwise well stocked. The pool is not perhaps as heated as we would have liked, but perhaps that was because it was quite early in the year. Also on the occasions that we tried neither the jacuzzi or the sauna were operating. Still there is plenty to do in the area so we really didn't spend a lot of time in the cottage. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We were advised that no pets were allowed, although it appeared that everyone in the other cottages had brought their dog!"
    Debbie
"Excellent place to stay. Lamorna was clean, spacious and comfortable. My children loved the swimming pool and the games room."

"The cottage was warm clean comfortable but very rural .The manager was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.A nice location in Spring and Summer months"

"He cottage was lovely but was let down by location, quite secluded. No wi-fi was an issue as this was only in the games room even then was not fantastic. Was dissapointed big time with the games room, it was cold, had a funny smell and just lacked potential. A games room needs to be bright, colourful and have games for children maybe a ps3, some toddler games and soft play toys with kids books, Not second hand adult books etc was really a big let down to a mum with 3 boys ages 1, 3 and 7. The pool and jaccuzi were fab although for some reason was not able to access on the friday evening. The playground could also be much more, trampoline was old and torn which made this a hazard to play on. The cottage washer did not work, the plinths in the kitchen fell on my foot so not secured properly and the radiator grill also fell off in the lounge! Just small things that need keeping on top of."
    Helen
"Really good cottage to stay. Shame that the washing machine was broken but the owner wasn't informed by the previous occupants. Also the gas hob didn't work properly, but again the owner wasn't informed before. Unfortunately the hoover didn't work as we found it was completed blocked and hadn't been cleaned. The property I think could have been cleaner, but I am a very fussy person about cleanliness with my daughter.Overall a really lovely place to stay and would go back."
    Carol
"Overall the property was nice and well equipped, meeting the needs of our young family. Although the property slept 6, I think it would have felt cramped had there were 6 adults staying here due to the reduced 'living' space. The bedrooms were of a good size and the 2 bathrooms were also of a good standard. The cottage smelt damp, this may have been due to the time of year that we went there, and our clothes smelt too after being in the wardrobes for a few days.Swimming pool and hot tub were fab, lovely and warm.On site games room was slightly dated and the wifi reception was rubbish, as was general internet connection. The property is not really within walking distance to anywhere but we were happy enough to drive out as lots of wonderful places to see.Friendly, helpful staff and nice surroundings."
    Dave
"The cottage was good overall, although several blown light bulbs and mould on the shower curtains were small problems that should have easily been corrected by the local management. Most of the facilities are very good, although a shame that most of the games room items have to be paid for and a number were either damaged or had parts missing."
    Calvin
"Very clean and well equipped. Good location. We had a nice time here. Let down a little by small things - slightly tired in places, most light bulbs broken etc. Complex is larger than I imagined, about a dozen units. Or holiday slightly affected by inconsiderate dog owners hence uncomfortable letting kids play in grass."
    Andy
"Lovely cottage, well equipped. Lounge area perhaps needs a rethink to make it a little more comfortable viewing the TV. Disappointing that the WiFi was not available in the cottage, and the phone signal was poor."

"We stayed for one week with our son, daughter in law and 2 children ages 13yrs and 7 months. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and all utensils were clean. It was May but the swimming pool was warm enough to take the baby in and the Jacuzzi and steam room were a welcome relaxation for my husband and I who are both Senior Citizens. Asda is 10 minutes away, Falmouth 15 minutes. Lovely pubs around serving delicious home made food. We will definitely book this accommodation again. Thank you. April 2012."

"There was everything you could want in the kitchen and throughout the whole of the property. Bedding was whie and immaculate and beds were very comfortable, it was also great having two bathrooms. March 2012."

"Ample room, everything provided one could ever expect. Two bathroom/shower rooms a bonus. Everything included in the price including the sauna and jacuzzi. The tumble dryer on site was useful as the washer/dryer in the accommodation was not very efficient. Ally, the on site manager was most helpful and informative. We will no doubt be back. Aug 2010. "

"Excellent accommodation in beautiful area of Cornwall. Shops etc, easily accessible by car though slightly further away from beach as expected. Pool a fantastic facility and used almost every day, even in the rain. Would definitely revisit. A well maintained and sympathetically but beautifully renovated property. Superb standard. Caretaker was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. July 2009."
