"Nice place to stop plenty of room only thing that let it down was the showers, one didn't work in the main bathroom so used shower of the taps which was poor and shower in the en suite poor pressure. Overall good place to stop."

"My overall rating for this property is 2. I would love to give a good review but I can't. I wish I'd read all the reviews rather than relying on just the review rating before booking. One of the main reasons for booking this cottage was that it was advertised as being detached, but it isn't. It is attached to next door by the owners "office" which someone seemed to be using most days. As this cottage is the owners actual home they had moved into the summer house at the end of the garden and were always pottering about the place. This included entering the property when we were out to turn on the central heating which had been turned off at the start of the holiday. The property description states there is use of a freezer and dvd player this is also incorrect. There was no dvd player, we could have taken one with us if we had known, so had to buy one and the freezer had a lock fitted as it contained the owners food. Luckily he was willing to let us use it because we had taken food for the freezer with us. The one and only shower we could use was adequate but need the head cleaning as very little water came out.The one saving grace for this property is the location as there are so many places to visit without having to travel too far."

"Chosen for a family reunion with two children who loved the quirky steps up or down into each room and squeaky floors of an old building. As we were lucky to have stunning weather we spent little time in the cottage. Local pubs were excellent for meals and plenty to do in the area-Stratford it too far away but plenty of walks etc ."

"We loved the setting but the showers were very poor and with no access to the freezer and the very hot weather it made difficult"

"Lovely cottage could only have been improved by having wifi"
