    In a very convenient location only a 2-minute walk from the pebble beach, with a promenade, pier, cafés and seaside attractions, and also close to the various shops, pubs and eateries, this town house offers well-presented holiday accommodation, suitable for families or couples. The property is set over three floors and has a decked courtyard garden. There is so much to do locally – there is a canoe lake, tennis, the Pyramid Centre with tropical indoor pool, amusement arcades, boat rides, War Memorial, Natural History Museum and a tour bus. Portsmouth with its maritime history is less than a 5-minute drive, with many further attractions including the ferry over to the Isle of Wight, Spinnaker Tower, Naval ships such as HMS Victory and Mary Rose, Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Charles Dickens birthplace and Southsea or Portchester Castles. Gunwharf Quay has a leisure complex with nightclub, cinema, various waterside restaurants and extensive retail outlet shopping, as well as museums art galleries and so much more. Also within easy reach are The New Forest with Beaulie Motor Museum and where the ponies roam, Southampton with its nautical links and ships, Marwell Zoo, the cathedral city of Winchester and Chichester are also within easy driving distance.     "Although the house was spacious and comfortable, there were no drawers in the bedrooms, so clothing had to be left in piles on the floor. The basin in the 'en-suite' was partially blocked and I had to mend the bathroom toilet seat. The living room was comfortable enough for our party of four but five would have been a squeeze,especially as there are only four dining chairs! The kitchen has a lack of equipment,eg. pyrex dishes for the microwave, enough cutlery so you can make use of the dishwasher and wooden spoons and a whisk (which we had to buy). We managed with the small, awkward parking space as our car isn't too large, any bigger, and there would have been problems. However, the excellent bus service and local shops are within a short, walking distance away. Southsea and Portsmouth are well worth a visit and we shall certainly come back to the area."
    "When I rang the key holder to let her know we would be arriving she said that we must be mistaken, she had us booked to arrive the next day. When she rand back an hour later she said the previous visitors had left that morning (in line with the Friday booking) and she would pull out all the stops to get us in. When we arrived half and hour later the cleaners were just leaving with their toddler and we went in with Jozie. The cleaners had obviously done the bare minimum and the carpets were dirty, the bathrooms were stained and the kitchen and utility room didn't smell very clean. As we were 5 ladies away for the weekend we made the best of it and didn't let it spoil our time away. The house is not suitable for 5 people, only 4 chairs to the table, a fold away chair in the utility room would have been handy. Not enough seating in the lounge, a bean bag is not good enough for an adult to use each night. The single room is a glorified cupboard, nowhere to store clothes etc, as is the downstairs toilet. You have to open the door to pull your trousers up! We didn't feel this was up to the usual standard of other properties we have stayed in with you before."
    "A lovely house in a very convenient location. A real home from home with comfy beds and sofas and all mod cons. A very friendly welcome from Jozie who lives just next door. We visited the historic dockyards which were fantastic and I'd recommend buying a year pass because there's so much to see and do, you'll want to come back again. The only downsides was that the door to one of the flats next door is right next to the front door of the town house. This wouldn't be a problem for most but our dog is quite some guard dog so was on high alert most of the time and would bark at people entering and leaving the flat nextdoor. Also, our dog will only do his "business" on grass but the rear garden is completely decked so we had to take him for a walk last thing at night every night to avoid any night time accidents. However the walk to the pleasure lake at the end of the road is very pleasant and it is well lit at night. We would return again."

    "The location is perfect and having off road parking was great. The kitchen could do with more utencils such as a potato peeler, wooden spoons and a coffee maker/cafetiere and the lounge/dining area is lacking in seating as the house sleeps 5 and a bean bag is not practical as a 5th seat and the table only seats 4 and only when pulled out into the room.The fact the ensuite is just a toilet and sink needs to be clearer in property description. I am sure this information was changed after my booking. Finally, the literature mentions that the parking space is marked however, it isn't and you need to assume it is the one in front of the house."
    "For our party of 5, the house was a bit cramp (living room one table with 4 chairs, rather dark, basic furniture). Easy acces to isle of Wight/Portsmouth harbour, all walking distance. Town house is the house on the left, not the one on the right as we thought :("
