A fabulous beachside cottage with wow factor! Driftwood Retreat is packed with seaside style offering beautiful family accommodation, just a stone’s throw from the beach. The living room is very comfortable with a wood burning stove set in an inglenook fireplace. The contemporary kitchen has all the usual appliances and dining table with chairs. This detached stone cottage is in a great location with gardens to the side and rear - the perfect spot to take in the sea air and totally relax!

It’s all about the location - but if you can tear yourself away from the beach it’s worth exploring the historic market town of Alnwick (6 miles). A great place to do a little shopping or stop off for lunch or a coffee, there’s also a weekly market but don’t miss out on the magnificent castle, most famous for being transformed into Hogwort’s Castle in the first two Harry Potter movies. The Alnwick Garden was the brainchild of the Duchess of Northumberland and has evolved from a derelict site over 10 years ago to an awe-inspiring garden and the magical, unique Tree House Restaurant.
