For days out with the family, you can explore The Lost Gardens Heligan, a beautiful Victorian garden within 200 acres of land which will give you a sense of nostalgia and adventure. Alternatively, Newquay town is situated within seven miles of the cottage, where during the summer months you can enjoy its sandy beach and coastal paths, or visit the beautiful Padstow which is seven - eight miles away. St Columb Major is a market town, nestled within the countryside near to the North Cornish Coast. Here, you will find a selection of amenities, including bars, clubs, shops, a zoo and the National Surfing Centre. The iconic Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within easy reach of the town, in addition to Newquay beach where you can enjoy the sandy beach and the coastal paths.

    A nice welcome basket of tea coffee and biscuits was most welcome. Plenty of towels provided. Kitchen was very well equipped. Would recommend and will be returning.

    Just a few things would be nice to have some seating on top balcony. Unfortunately we were plague by ant in the kitchen and food area I did ring the housekeeper who kindly came out and put some stuff down but didn't really work but nothing was to much for her to help and was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again just needs a little updating and re decorating.
