Snaptrip says

Browside is a well-received holiday cottage in Coniston, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. The property boasts a hot tub, en suite bathrooms, and ample space for large groups. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, dog-proof garden, and the thoughtful touches like flowers on arrival. While most experiences are positive, a few mention minor issues with maintenance and privacy due to the proximity of the owner's residence.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'very clean' and 'tidy'. Only one mention of a damp smell suggests a minor issue, not reflective of the overall high standards.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions and walks. The ease of access to the lake and countryside, as well as the peaceful setting, contribute to its high rating.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the en suite bathrooms and spacious living areas. However, a few guests noted the beds could be more comfortable, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. Criticisms include blunt knives and the need for additional fridges, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

The property is appreciated for thoughtful touches like flowers on arrival and a well-stocked information file. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

Plenty of free entertainment for the kids, watching the farmer herding his sheep. Will recommend to friends.

The house is in good order, nicely decorated and well furnished. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with more than enough cookware, serving dishes, crockery and cutlery. The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated that most of the rooms had an en-suite. The hot tub was great fun, especially after a walk. Any queries we had both prior to and during our stay were promptly answered. We will undoubtedly be back.
