Those who enjoy the great outdoors will be delighted with the cycle route that runs through Fenwick and there are many local spots which are renowned for birdwatching. Walkers will enjoy St. Cuthbert’s way, which passes through the village, and of course the many outstanding coastal walks nearby. A superb touring base.

The Nook is a little gem and Fenwick is a lovely quiet and tranquil village with excellent access to the A1 making exploring the area absolutely perfect. We visited Holy Island, Bamburgh and Berwick upon Tweed with ease. We are two older ladies so the ground floor accommodation was perfect as were the two en suite bedrooms. The only issue we had was with the oven and left a note in the Maintenance Folder the owner has provided. We would definitely try and book this accommodation if we were planning another trip to Northumberland. Thanks for making a great start to 2024 for us!

The couch is not comfortable but is adequate. Our first week was lovely with no issues our second week was not so good as the people upstairs were very noisy and kept us awake most nights as you could hear every sound through the floor !
