About this property

The Tea House is a ground floor detached lodge located in Ludgvan, Near St Ives, Cornwall. It overlooks a lily pond and stands on a four acre woodland garden, full of exotic plants and shrubs. It has been carefully converted from the owner’s original artist’s studio, the style is based on an oriental tea house which blends perfectly into its tropical-style setting. It is perfect for couples.

The Tea House opens into a spacious living room with a TV with integral DVD player, and doors that open onto a patio. There is also a fitted kitchen and dining area, and one double bedroom with an en suite wet room and WC.

The patio leads to a large decking area overlooking the lily pond and has a picnic table and granite seat by the entrance with fine views over a wild valley. There is an opportunity for complimentary tours. Explore the large garden, with woodland walks, a haven for wildlife.

This lodge lies between Penzance and St Ives and overlooks the owner’s four acre woodland garden. There are a number of coastal sights for walkers such as Mount’s Bay. Marazion Beach also gives access to a causeway and a boat service to St Michael’s Mount, a small island home to tropical gardens and medieval castles.

The Hoxton Special opens for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as Penlee House Gallery & Museum which specialises in the Newlyn School and early St Ives artists.
