About this property

From the moment you drive through the gates, you will find it hard to believe that you are only one mile from the centre of this bustling city.

Set within the grounds of the owners’ lovely home and dating back 100 years, Nadder Barn still retains its exposed beams, original ‘owl slits’ and old brick walls. The slightly rustic interior has been beautifully restored and now offers well lit, stylishly furnished, contemporary living spaces with exceptional attention to detail. French windows from the main living area open out onto a paved patio area, from where a large lawned garden shared with owners, stretches down to the River Nadder.

Being so close to the city centre, you have a wealth of shops and restaurants on your doorstep, making this an excellent place to visit for a short break or longer holiday.Private fishing is available on the north bank of the River Nadder at no additional cost, subject to guests having a fishing license and their own equipment. There are plenty of paths that can be used to explore the city of Salisbury, so you can go walking. Or if you fancy some retail therapy there are plenty of small shops to look at.

Nadder Barn is perfect for a family looking to relax in the Wiltshire countryside, and explore somewhere new.

Salisbury is an old city that is home to some of the oldest properties in England, and a 13th century cathedral which well-preserved remnants of the Magna Carta. Just a few minutes drive from Nadder Barn will take you to Wilton House which is a stately home in the Palldian style, set in 21 acres of parkland.

Location was perfect too, and a bus stop just outside the gate was the icing on the cake! Will reccomend to family and friends.

The welcome we received by the owner was very good and the property itself had almost everything. The only thing lacking was a television in the bedroom which would be a welcome addition for families who like to watch different tv programmes etc. We liked the variety of paintings/pictures on display and the amount of books dvd's etc. Also, the garden was a delight .Overall, highly recommended
