This stunning stone village house is arranged around a beautiful and intimate courtyard with a delightful heated pool and pretty terraces to while away the time relaxing in the sunshine.

The tasteful restoration has resulted in a very stylish and beautiful home which works in perfect harmony with the natural stone and character of this beautiful part of Southern France.

Guests will be staying in one of the charming villages near the desirable town of Uzès, where a traditional market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday, showcasing all the very best that the area has to offer – fruit, vegetables, cheeses, wines and many other Mediterranean delicacies. In the summer many night markets also take place in Uzès and the surrounding villages, as well as music and village festivals on most weekends. Art lovers will enjoy strolling through the tiny roads in Uzès, packed with art galleries, whilst wine lovers will be treated to the grand ‘appellations’ nearby, like Châteauneuf du Pape and Vacqueyras. There are two wine makers in the village a short walk away!

Located about 15 mins away from the charming town of Uzès, a medieval town entrenched in history with a maze of narrow streets and hosting a traditional market each Wednesday and Friday which offers all the local delicacies and treats.

Numerous historical sites surround La Cour, including Nîmes with its Roman amphitheatre which is still in use today for concerts and bull-fighting. Within an hours drive of the villa you will find the ancient town of Avignon with its gothic architecture, and Arles, a city of art and culture which inspired both Picasso and Van Gogh.

Throughout the year there are events and activities including the truffle weekend in January. Not forgetting the Haribo sweet factory for all the family which is only a short distance away.
