A charming Victorian vicarage has been divided into two properties and the high quality Orchard House is entirely self-contained with its own driveway, entrance and enclosed gardens, on a no-through lane leading to the River Wye (100 yards). A peaceful rural location on the edge of Newbridge-on-Wye, 500 yards to the village shop and pub, 5 miles north of Builth Wells (Royal Welsh Showground) and 8 miles south of Rhayader and the Elan Valley.

There are two bedrooms, the first with an antique king-size bed and ensuite bath/shower room and the second with a king-size or twin beds and ensuite shower room. The colourful fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, dining area and flatscreen TV/DVD; there is also a separate utility which houses the washing machine. In the sitting room are two large sofas and a woodburner (initial basket of logs provided). Sky TV, DVD, video, hi-fi/CD, free WiFi, books, games & films and a welcome pack.

Orchard House benefits from enclosed mature gardens with garden furniture and a barbecue. This location in the heart of Wales is excellent for walking including the Wye Valley Walk and for outdoor activity enthusiasts there is fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, pony trekking and golf nearby. Plenty of bird watching and wildlife spotting in the area and the Red Kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm is only a 10 minute drive away.
